​10 Jan 2026

Special Saturday Workshop January 10 9:00 - 3:00 . You provide own lunch. Cost is $50 Barbara Blackman-Gussak, our previous Collage teacher, has created a hummingbird pattern just for us. The class fee is $50 and includes pattern and oner large piece of fabric for fussy cutting. You provide a sewing machine and regular sewing supplies and tools. Note: It might be a good idea to bring a scrap of fabric any color missing from the photo of the large piece.


21 Jan 2026 -

Workshop “Scrappy Stuff” for some ideas and practice. Small kit to be provided, and you can bring your own scrap in addition. The price is $60 and includes the pattern and the cute scrappy kit below.

Programs:

-- Programs are presented at our monthly meetings, on the third Tuesday of each month in the morning(9am) and in the evening (6pm). Programs include a Guest speaker.

Workshops

-- Many lecturers teach a workshop while they are here. workshops teach new techniques to improve our quilting skills.

-- If scheduled, the workshops are held the third Wednesday of each month.

-- You must sign up and pay in advance for the workshop.

-- Most workshops have a min and max number of students, so sign up well in advance so we know that we will be able to have the workshop.

-- Each workshop will have a supply list with the materials and equipment needed for that class. If a sewing machine is needed, be sure it is in good working order and you know how to use it.



Mind Your P’s and Q’s
(Which all us quilters know is really Mind Your Pineapple Quilts!)



We started in June with a very simple Pineapple block. Many of you made this block or took it home to sew it there. Many of you have checked out the current Blotto block, also a Pineapple block, but more complicated. There are more versions of the Pineapple block, and you can find some of them in the following websites. Don’t forget – there is a bin of yellow fabric at the clubhouse. This has been donated just for this block because the Guild’s stash of yellow is not large. I hope we have some pineapple quilts in our show 2026!
